How did you get started with event management?
I've always had a knack for planning, and growing up I was always that friend that was to go to for planning the birthday parties, vacations, sleepovers...you name it, I probably hosted a themed party of it!

Anyways, when my current husband proposed to me in November of 2020, I began my wedding planning process, and I was that type of person who loved every second of it. So I began helping my friends and family, and eventually some friends of friends, plan their events as well.

In December of 2023 I realized I needed to make this official. So I filed for my LLC and Pink Daisies Events was born!
What areas do you provide services to?
I currently live in South Jacksonville, and am more than happy to travel to any location in Duval, St Johns, Clay, Flagler, Alachua, or Putnam County at no additional cost.
But please don't hesitate to reach out if you are interested in my services and don't live in Northeast Florida! For a travel fee, I am willing to travel to most locations in South Georgia, Central Florida or South Florida.
Why do you provide partial planning separate from day-of event coordination?
During the events I've managed, I've noticed that not everyone needs the same services provided. Sometimes this can be frustrating to a client, because no one wants to pay for something that they don't actually need! Some people, like me, are great at planning, but don't want to stress out about organizing all the vendors and guests on the big day. So why should those people pay for planning services?

Other people feel more lost during the planning process, but have a venue coordinator included in their venue rental, or family member or friend who can help coordinate vendors and guests on the event day. So why should they pay for coordination services, when they really just need partial planning help?

When I decided to start my business, I wanted to make sure my plans were affordable and able to accommodate every event planning level, so that is why I decided to split my plans. If you need both partial planning and day-of coordination, we can absolutely combine those plans for a discounted rate, to make sure your day runs smoothly from beginning to end!
What makes you different from other planners and coordinators?
When I was planning my own wedding, I asked this question over and over again to so many different vendors. Some of them said they were really organized, or they had a lot of experience, or they just have a love of helping people, and the list goes on and on. Even though it sounded like I got a lot of different answers, they were really all saying the same thing- we offer the same services as everyone else, but we just call it something different, because we have so many clients and we can do whatever, and people will still book us regardless. And don't get me wrong, some of those vendors are still incredible people who do a great job at what they do. But I wasn't satisfied with those answers, and they didn't make choices I had to make any less difficult.
As I began building my own business, I wanted to make sure I had a better reason than this. So I started to list all the things I felt like I would do better than some of the people I had talked to.

The reason why Pink Daisies is different is because we are a small business who is really trying to get our business off it's feet, but we still have the experience to give quality service. We also pride ourselves on our exemplary communication and relationship building skills, which makes everything about major event planning less stressful for everyone involved.
This means that we will always go the extra mile for every aspect of your event, because even though it's another wedding or baby shower for us, it's YOUR wedding, or YOUR baby shower. No matter what is going on in our lives, we keep this in mind when planning and coordinating your event. Deadlines and timelines matter. Budgets and little details matter. Communication matters.
